Hi Everyone

I just wanted to update you all on the new pitches. Unfortunately with the very wet weather there has been a delay in the work to make the access safe for players and spectators. We need to ensure that the access is safe before we can start training and playing on the new pitches.

The good news is that the first team did try out the new 11 aside pitch and felt that it was a great surface. The FA pitch assessments are due to take place this week.

We are now looking at using the pitches from the first week after half term for matches. Once the temporary floodlights have been installed and tested we will be able to advise on when we can start using the pitches in the evenings for training.

It is frustrating for everyone and we appreciate your patience with the current training schedule and match pitch allocations.

I am sure it will all be worth the wait !

I hope to provide a more definitive update in a week or so.
